Job Overview

 

We're looking for an Editorial Manager to join our Editorial team! In this role, you'll partner with team members from various internal departments to ensure thorough referencing, editing, and review of digital and print pieces for a variety of brands in the health and wellness space.

Responsibilities

  • Holds the ability to write with proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure; able to copyedit/proofread with minimal oversight
  • Strong understanding and application of AMA guidelines and editorial style guides; creates/maintains/applies style guides
  • Understanding of the medical and legal submissions process for marketing materials.
  • Completes submissions across all MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) review platforms.
  • Performs thorough and complete reviews of MLR-approved pieces against the staging (digital) or RTP (release to print) file and print proof
  • Proficient understanding of FDA guidelines
  • Proficient with time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable acting as a mentor to Submission Coordinators on the submissions/submission process
  • Acts as a “voice” in team meetings and discussions to aid in “problem-solving” leaning on experience
  • Driven and motivated to take on assigned tasks and deliver it back to the team as “complete” and their “best work”

Qualifications

  • Experience working in an agency/creative environment required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in editing, proofreading, referencing/annotating, and copy skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as independently
  • Demonstrated initiative as a self-starter
